Meet The Southern Roots Team

Dom Crooke
Hailing from the North of England, our very own Yorkshire man inherited his country roots living in San Antonio Texas where his love of Country Music took over his soul. On returning to the UK, Dom discovered the UK Scene and realised quickly that there was a lot of talented independent artists that were being missed out and so Country Chat with Dom was born in 2019. After interviewing hundreds of artists, Dom’s radio career began and now he brings us incredible artists from the UK, US and beyond! Tune in to Country Chat with Dom here on Southern Roots Radio!

The Boots Up & Turn It Up Show
Country Gals are two northern best friends dreaming of the western lifestyle, fueled on coffee, cowboy boots, and big laughs. We might not be from Nashville, but our love for line dancing, bold western fashion, and all things country runs deep. Powered by friendship, chaos, and a little ADHD magic, we bring unstoppable energy, good vibes, and a whole lot of fun wherever we go. Life’s better with confidence, cowboy hats, and someone to dance through it with and that’s exactly who we are.

Nameless The Country Gig Guy

No Matter The Miles
I’m Niall — or Nelsy — your host of Steel & Static. Based in Glasgow, I’m all about country music, from playing guitar to catching live gigs whenever I can. The show’s about sharing that passion and helping shine a light on up-and-coming artists alongside the big names.

Rhinestones & Cowgirl Dreams
Rhinestones and cowgirldreams is rooted in the golden era of countrymusic
Some might know me as Kath and I’m all about the hits from the 60s/70s/80s/90s and early 2000s ,from you classic honkytonk to traditional heartfelt story telling.
When I’m not listening to the legends and cowgirl dreaming of a ranch in Texas you’ll find me embracing the western fashion from boots, denim and rhinestones all the way

The Cozy Country Show
I’m Tiana, also known as autumnal cowgirl on social media. Country music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up listening to Shania thanks to my mum, and somewhere along the way that turned into my own deep love for the genre, from the classics to the modern sounds.
I’ve always been drawn to anything cozy, the kind of feeling you get on a rainy autumnal day with a warm drink in hand, and for me, country music fits perfectly into that world. It’s the one genre that truly feels like home.
This show is my little space to share that feeling with you. So grab a drink, get comfortable, and let the music do what it does best.

On her new radio show, she brings expert insight, live reactions, and unfiltered conversations about the biggest stories in the league — all from a fresh UK perspective.

Cowgirlmac Show
Hey guys. I’m Lovisa aka CowgirlMac, based out of the Northwest England. A bit about me, I’ve lived the country lifestyle since I was very young but only recently got into country music properly within the last few years. I own both horses, chickens and dogs. My show is a mixture of music, news, rumours and general things I’ve been up to.

Dj Chris Armstrong

Tom`s Tennessee Talk
Just a lad from Lincolnshire who loves country and spreading the joy of it, and chatting about things I love and who was definitely born the wrong side of the pond

Country Rick & Roll
Straight out of Merseyside, England, Rick brings northern humour, sporting spirit and a hint of Irish heritage – which may explain why folk and country have always tugged at his musical subconscious.
A lifelong UK-US sports fanatic, he spent a year working stateside, giving him even more chances to soak up the culture and the country soundtrack that comes with it. His journey picked up pace with every trip across the States - from NYC and Boston, to rodeos, festivals and the legendary 'Cowboys' bar in Orlando. From NOLA nights to The Stockyards and Billy Bob's Honky-Tonk in Fort Worth, and onto The Ryman, The Opry and the CMAs in Nashville, he's sampled the full American playlist.
Now he's two-stepping up to the mic with CountryRicknRoll - learning the ropes right alongside his listeners. Saddle up and enjoy the ride...
